About the developer

Maintra is built by one person who lives on both sides of the problem.

The garage side

I drive and maintain an old Mitsubishi Pajero myself — oil, brakes, suspension, the whole biography of an ageing 4x4. Maintra started as my own service book: I wanted to remember what was done, when, at what mileage, and what it cost, without a shoebox of receipts or yet another spreadsheet.

The software side

By profession I'm a tech head of delivery — years of building and shipping apps used around the world. That experience goes into the parts of Maintra you never see: offline-first storage, sync you can trust, data you can always export, and no dark patterns. Your service history should outlive your phone.

Why most of it is free

Anyone who fixes their own car knows parts are expensive enough — car money should go to parts, not another subscription. So everything that costs nothing to run stays free. You only pay for the features where I pay third parties — the AI processing. See pricing for exactly what that means.

What Maintra will never do: show ads, sell your data, or track your location. That's not a marketing line — it's in the privacy policy.

Say hi

If Maintra saved your service history, or you have an idea that would make it better, write me at [email protected] — I read every message. More about my work: rozbeyko.github.io/rk.
